Ferrari 812 GTS: Next Generation V12 Spider

The wait is over for the return of the beloved Ferrari front-engine V12 Spider. The 812 GTS is a legend in the making, much like its famous predecessor, the Daytona Spider. This cousin to the 812 Superfast has a completely redesigned rear, in order to balance the sleekness of the front while concealing the retractable hardtop. The 812 GTS V12 front-engine delivers 800 Horsepower, 0-62mph acceleration in under 3 seconds; and a top speed of over 211 mph.

The handling of the 812 GTS is just as exhilarating as the berlinetta version, delivering instantaneous response times and agility while accelerating. The impressive handling is due to the EPS (Electronic Power Steering) which allows the driver to use the full potential of the 812 GTS.

Freedom to hit the open road and enjoy the sounds of the 812 GTS naturally-aspirated V12 engine never felt so good. Drop the top, pedal to the metal, and enjoy the invigorating journey to the Jersey shore.

The sleek redesigned rear of the 812 GTS has a new retractable roof, tonneau cover and luggage compartment compared to the 812 Superfast. The rear two buttresses house the roof when retracted and give the sense of forward thrust. Additionally, the electric rear screen allows the cabin to enjoy the sounds of the v12 engine when open and or closed. The 812 GTS imposes balance and beauty with the top or down.

The 812 GTS is the first front-engine V12 Spider since the Daytona Spider of the late 60s. The latest electronic control innovations enhance the performance of the 812 GTS in all driving situations. In the engine, the shape of the torque curve reveals that torque distribution was not sacrificed to boost power. A significant 80% of maximum torque is available at just 3500 rpm, improving both flexibility and pick-up at lower revs.

The cabin of the 812 GTS is a luxurious symphony that dazzles all of your senses. The sound of the unmistakable roar of the V12 engine fills the cabin whether the top is up or down. Sound is optimized due to the 6-in-1 exhaust manifold pipes being equal-length. Senses heighten as the driver expertly maneuvers flawlessly thanks to the innovations at their fingertips on the steering wheel and infotainment center.
